Hydroman™ TQSY Hydraulic Submersible Dredging Booster Pumps specifically designed for handling slurries with a high content of abrasive solids. The hydraulic submersible pumps have been extremely successful for clients operating in specialized sectors who face severe conditions and solve very difficult applications. The pumps are positioned as submersible dredge pumps for marine and energy sectors as well a in mining for minerals and other materials. Handling slurries with up to 70% solids content and specific gravity up to 1.7, With high chrome wear parts and specially designed, grease packed lip seals, the hydroman hydraulic dredging pumps are manufactured with exceptional structural quality to maximize the benefits of the customer's initial investment and achieve low maintenance and service costs.

Design Features:

▪ Hydroman hydraulic motors are all Class H insulated and have a minimum 1.25 service factor.

▪ Hydroman hydraulic Pumps are equipped with a unique lip seal system to prevent material from penetrating the seal.

▪ High quality materials ensure long life of all components.

▪ Temperature sensor, embedded in the electric motor, and Moisture sensor, in the oil chamber, are available options to protect the pump in the most demanding application.

▪ Adjustable Hi-Chrome suction side Wear Plate maintains maximum performance for extended periods by a simple adjustment of the gap between the wear plate and the impeller.

▪ Replaceable wear parts: casings, impellers, wear plates all can be replaced independently.

▪ Lube Oil Inspection Ports: a wide angle port outside the pump ensures easy inspection of shaft seal oil levels as well as providing easy access for oil replacement.

▪ The excavating action is created by the Hi-Chrome agitator blades that lift settled sediments which then get sucked into the hydraulic dredging pump, creating a continuous flow of concentrated slurry.

▪ Hydraulic Excavator

The hydraulic excavators, normally mounted on the right and left hand sides of the pump casing, are used for hard compacted soil where a mechanical excavator would otherwise be required. Together with the action of the agitator mounted on the pump shaft, the resulting slurry is drawn into the pump suction and pumped out through the discharge line.

▪ Jet Ring

Breaks up the solids with the power of water. High pressure water jet ring system can be used in the presence of compact, very dry or clay materials. For electric slurry pumps the jet system can be used as an alternative to hydraulic cutters. It consists of a jet ring frame mounted on the pump strainer & a high pressure centrifugal pump (available in electric and hydraulic versions).

▪ Hydraulic power packs

Hydraulic power packs are specifically designed for use with the hydroman hydraulic submersible pump series equipment. The power packs are based on diesel engines, that complies with latest emission requirements, or electric motors and are built with high quality components. The hydraulic system is based on close loop design therefore maximum oil flow can be controlled without varying diesel engine/electric motor speed. Every Power Pack can be adapted to better fit customer needs with additional oil source to drive ancillary equipment (such a winches or water pumps).

▪ Discharge hose, coupling and floats

The efficiency of your pumping installations notably depends on the discharge line you connect the pump to. The layout of the discharge installation is crucial. The adequate choice in terms of type and quality of the pipes is also very important. Hydroman pumps offer short delivery delays on a large range of quality hoses, couplings and floats. Electric cables conform to international norms and perfectly compatible with our different models of hydroman pumps are available from stock. The connection of the cable on the hydroman pump you order is free of charge. Perfect water-tightness and electric security is guarantied.
